Elstree

Elstree is an independent boarding and day preparatory school for boys aged 7-13 years situated in beautiful grounds in rural Berkshire. It incorporates Home Farm, its pre-preparatory and nursery department for both girls and boys from the ages of 3-7 years.

Elstree provides first-class education within a distinctive warm and friendly atmosphere, governed by Christian principles and providing a platform for personal development and academic achievements that stays with the boys throughout their school life and beyond.

Elstree retains its traditional values whilst fully embracing today’s thinking, and aims to help the boys realise their academic potential with the encouragement and support of excellent staff and a pastoral programme for which Elstree is renowned. A wealth of extra-curricular opportunities is available to all pupils that contributes to the rounded education on which Elstree prides itself.

We have recently undergone an ISI inspection, and are proud of its findings.  Click here to read the inspection report.

Home Farm

The path to a happy and successful school life begins at Home Farm Pre-preparatory and nursery for girls and boys aged 3-7 years.

Home Farm is the nursery and pre-preparatory department of Elstree School, for girls and boys between the ages of 3-7 years. It was founded in 1993 with just eight pupils and is based in a charming converted farmhouse alongside the main school. Now running with about sixty eight girls and boys. www.homefarm.org.uk
