Lion King Book Week at Home Farm |
Home Farm becomes Pride Rock for the day
Home Farm became characters from Lion King for their Book Week dressing up day. There were many amazing costumes as the school became Pride Rock. A herd of zebra, pride of lions, troop of monkeys and a herd of elephants joined Rafiki, Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Zazu, Timon and Pumba for a day filled with music making, dancing, discovering animal facts and mask making. A trail was organised in the school grounds with cryptic clues giving the location of hidden animal footprints. Shouts of triumph echoed around the school as the children gradually managed to discover the footprints. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by children and staff alike.
