Welcome

As Home Farm is, for many children, the first experience of school life, we consider our role in the children’s development and happiness to be a very privileged one.

We pride ourselves on the very special, warm environment that has evolved since our inception, influenced largely by the Christian, family principles of the Elstree School community. Paramount to daily life at Home Farm is that each child feels secure and confident, making new friends and beginning a voyage of exploration and discovery in these crucial foundation years.

Our teaching is based on the traditional style, but incorporates the best of modern practice, with topic-based learning and an emphasis on literacy and numeracy. The children have the opportunity to make use of all the extensive facilities at Elstree, including the sports hall, computer room, swimming pool and tennis courts. This is in addition to our own playground which includes an adventure and climbing area, thus providing the children with plenty of outside play and exercise.
